As a leading expert in the field of communication with special emphasis in family dynamics, she has introduced, developed, and implemented programs on positive change for such companies as Qualcomm, Sharp Hospital, Children's Hospital, YMCA, California Youth Authority, and Families Forever. In the early 90s she realized that true positive change begins at home, so she created an organization to help reduce the stress and frustration in families and in raising children, producing the services of Team San Diego. Susie's strengths lie in her motivational speaking and her award winning "Train the Trainer" programs. Radio talk show guest and expert, Susie regularly shares her insights on parenting. Professionally and personally, Susie is an active and influential community member, holding a long-term appointment as a Board member for the YMCA Youth & Family Services, as a 20 year PTA member, and as a national speaker for INCAF Western Region. Susie's long term involvement with the community started professionally 30 years ago as a manager of a daycare center in Los Angeles, following with her tenure in Boston, as a Board of Director position for the Cambridge Child Protective Services Agency. Susie's accomplishments have received tremendous recognition; such as, defining and writing parenting course work for both: Center for Child Protection and the California State Penal System for incarcerated minors who are parents.

For the past 13 years Susie has been leading seminars and hands-on workshops, based on Mother Theresa's founding principal that "World peace begins in your home", specializing in parenting, corporate management training-with a concentration in team skills, and communication techniques. San Diego Schools, private and public, elementary and high school districts, all continually enjoy Susie's coursework, consultations and in-services for teachers using the program, Redirecting for Cooperative Classrooms.

Susie played volleyball while attending UCLA and Sonoma State, and is still an active athlete regularly seen on the volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. An expert on team communications, Susie regularly consults and strategizes with coaches and sports psychologists. The 5th child in a family of 10, she herself has 4 sons, and makes her home in Del Mar, California.

Susie has been teaching the Redirecting Children's Behavior Course for apporximately 16 years before her dream of ownig a center like Indigo Village started to actualize. Working out of her kitchen in Del Mar and holding weekend seminars such as the "Understanding Yourself and Others Course at a holtel down the roas was the beginning of the end for staying small. After a course of 24 students, 20 assistants, 2 instructors and a hotel full of puzzled guests Susie began her search for a location to host Indigo Village and all its ambitions.
